Leora Fridman
Leora Fridman is a writer and educator based in Oakland, CA. She’s author of MY FAULT, selected by Eileen Myles for the Cleveland State University Press First Book Prize, in addition to other books of poetry, prose and translation. Her work appears in The Millions, the New York Times, Gulf Coast, the Rumpus, and Open Space, among others. Leora is a recipient of grants and residencies from organizations including Caldera, the National Endowment for the Arts, Vermont Studio Center, the Center for Cultural Innovation, and the Dorot Foundation. She was selected for the 2018 Creative Capital / Andy Warhol Foundation Arts Writers Workshop and is a 2019-2020 Fulbright research fellow to Mexico.
