The Santa Fe Art Institute (SFAI), in partnership with the City of Santa Fe, announced a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to select up to five (5) design and planning teams to envision the future of the campus of the Santa Fe University of Art and Design (“Midtown Campus”).
The Selection Committee chose these five amazing teams of local designers to work on the City’s Visioning Phase for the Midtown Campus Project, they are: AOS Architects, in partnership with MASS Design Group, Roy Wroth, and design office; Autotroph; Spears Horn Architects; Strata Design, in partnership with radicle and Groundwork Studio; and Surroundings. The teams were briefed on the results of the 2,234 surveys we received, as well as related research like Culture Connects and RE: MIKE.
The 5 design teams presented their visionary concepts at public meetings and online the week of April 9th for public feedback. Click on the following links to view the presentations and the design teams’ planning narratives.
