Raúl Riquelme Hernández
He is a Chilean performer and playwright with a degree in screenwriting. In 2016 he played a part in the International Emmy Award winning series “The Suspended Mourning”. He founded the “Catástrofe” theatre company. As a playwright, he wrote “Patrici(di)o” and “El presidente robó un banco”, both winners of the Festival Víctor Jara of the University of Chile. In 2018, the Royal Court Theatre selected him to write his play “La Mujer Maravilla”. In 2020 he won the Chilean National Theatre contest with “Dinosaurios en mi ventana”. He also works in the performance collective Complejo Conejo. Their work “PECES CAMINANDO!” premiered in the 14th edition of the Prague Quadriennal and they also worked as curators for the Chilean stand in its next edition with the project “Memento Mori”.
