Judith G. Levy

Judith G. Levy is a multidisciplinary artist, whose work explores history, culture and identity. She creates videos, installations, two-dimensional work, public art and performance. She has lived in the mid-west for the past sixteen years. Levy received a BA in Visual Art from Hunter College and an MSW from Adelphi University. She has presented solo exhibitions of her work at venues including The Indianapolis Museum of Art, Indiana University, and Big Car Gallery in Indianapolis, Soo Visual Arts Center in Minneapolis, Navta Schulz Gallery in Chicago, and the Paragraph Gallery in Kansas City. Her public art has been shown in Indianapolis, Chicago and Kansas City, and her video, On The Seventh Day has been screened in over seven international and national film festivals. Levy was awarded an Andy Warhol Foundation Rocket Grant, a Lilly Foundation Creative Renewal Grant and recently attended Art Omi International Residency.
