Bill McKibbon at SFAI

Homewise’s 6th Livability Speaker Series

We’re excited to announce that Bill McKibben will be speaking about climate change at Homewise’s 6th Livability Speaker Series on October 27th at the Santa Fe Art Institute. This talk will honor SFAI’s 2023 residency theme of Changing Climate and will feature open studios from current artists-in-residence.

In 2010, Bill worked with SFAI and activist groups in Santa Fe to develop the Flash Flood for a Living River project. He is an author, educator, and environmentalist that helped found 350.org, the first global grassroots climate campaign, and who has recently helped found Third Act, a progressive organizing movement for people over the age of 60.

The event was a great success! Thank you all for attending.
