Becca Albee

Becca Albee is a visual artist working primarily in photography often in combination with video, sound, sculpture, scent and/or printed matter. Albee’s work has been presented in solo exhibitions at MIT List Visual Arts Center, Cambridge, MA; Situations, New York, NY; Et al., San Francisco, CA; and group exhibitions at Portland Museum of Art, Portland, ME; Irish Museum of Modern Art, Dublin; and CAM, Raleigh, NC. Fellowships and residencies include MacDowell, Yaddo, Irish Museum of Modern Art, Fundacion Botin, Blue Mountain Center, Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, Artlink Donegal, and Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture. Albee received an MFA is from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a BA from The Evergreen State College in Olympia, WA, where Albee was in the band Excuse 17 and others. Albee is currently an Associate Professor of Art at The City College of New York, CUNY.
