Willow Wishes
Art, Science and River Restoration – Saturday March 31 1PM – 3:30PM


In this hands-on workshop learn about water, the Santa Fe River and restoration through art, writing and science: culminating in creating willow wish poles–native willow adorned with your wishes that we will all plant along the river.  Offered by poet Valerie Martinez, artists Bobbe Besold and Dominique Mazeaud and ecologist Rachel Boothby.

Saturday, March 31, 2012, 1 – 3:30 pm : Community Room at the Railyard Park (metal building near the parking lot behind SITE), Santa Fe.  For All ages and skill levels, a great family project.

Admission: by donation (no one turned away for lack of funds). Workshop Limit:  25.
