Talia is an attorney based in Santa Fe, New Mexico, specializing in transactional law with a focus on entertainment law, intellectual property, nonprofit law and governance, and employment law. Talia was raised in Santa Fe and received her J.D. from Loyola School of Law in New Orleans. Talia received her Bachelor of Arts from College of Charleston, South Carolina in Political Science and Spanish and a Masters of Law (LLM) from Washington College of Law in International Law.

Talia practices as Of Counsel with the Bennett Law Group in Santa Fe (since 2005) , and Blackgarden Law in Albuquerque. Talia served as outside General Counsel for Meow Wolf from 2016 to 2021.

Talia was a member of the Governor’s Council of Film and Media Industries from 2015 to 2021 and two-time Chair of the Intellectual Property Section of the NM Bar. Talia received the 2014 Santa Fe Mayor’s Award for Excellence in the Arts for her work with New Mexico Lawyers for the Arts.
