Multidisciplined Designer and Writer

Michael is a multidisciplined designer and writer leading marketing and communications efforts for arts, education, and nonprofit clients.
He has provided design leadership at The City University of New York, including brand identities for colleges, centers, and institutes. Michael also
founded a design studio in New York City, and partnered with local, national, and international brands, institutions, and initiatives.

Earning a master’s degree in journalism from CUNY, Michael reported for the nonprofit news organization Juvenile Justice Information Exchange
and served as an award-winning editor and reporter for the Santa Fe New Mexican and The Taos News.

He currently serves as a Public Relations Specialist at The University of New Mexico, where he leads marketing and communications initiatives.
Michael also volunteers with arts education, youth outreach, and social justice causes.
