Annie Vought is an artist based in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She works primarily in meticulously hand-cut paper, creating intricate works that explore identity, language, and personal narrative. Her art has been exhibited widely and includes large-scale public commissions. She received her MFA from Mills College and has been recognized with awards from the Herringer Family Foundation, the Murphy and Cadogan Award, and an Irvine Fellowship at the Montalvo Arts Center. Vought grew up in Santa Fe, spent many years in the Bay Area developing her career, and has now happily returned to the Land of Enchantment with her husband and son.
