Process is an intimate monthly gathering that features a presentation by a SFAI Resident and a conversation about their work and process.
November’s Process features, Grisha Krivchenia is a composer and pianist who divides his time between Santa Fe and the Seattle area. His busy performance schedule includes concert dates around the world and his compositions are realized by professional ensembles throughout the Northern Hemisphere. Recent premieres have taken place in Los Angeles, Bucharest, and Cortona (Italy). His chamber music and solo piano works are published by Abundant Silence.
Grisha takes a special interest in using art to amplify voices that might otherwise go unheard. He writes original music in collaboration with hospice patients and recently completed a song cycle based on interviews with Syrian refugees living in Jordan, Lebanon, and Turkey.
This event is free and open to the public. Suggested donation for this event is $5.
