Santa Fe Art Institute partners with the City As Living Laboratory (CALL), to engage with six different communities on the first weekend of May nationwide. On May 4, eleven CALL/WALKS will be activated in six cities including Washington D.C., Baltimore, Santa Fe, Milwaukee, Pittsburgh, and New York City.
The Santa Fe CALL/WALK, Atomic Stories, will be led on May 4 from 1-4pm by Dr. Andrea Polli, UNM College of Fine Arts, Dr. Luis Campos, Author of Radium & the Secret of Life, and Tina Cordova, New Mexico Downwinders. A culinary treat will be provided by Santa Fe YouthWorks.
Atomic Stories will focus on the unique ecology and histories of Santa Fe and other parts of Northern New Mexico as they relate to geological-scale transformations that have impacted environmental and human health globally.
