Sunghee Pae
Sunghee Pae received a B.F.A. degree from Hongik University in Seoul, Korea and an M.F.A. from Rhode Island School of Design (2008). She participated in residency programs organized by Belvedere Museum (Vienna, Austria), National Museum of Modern Contemporary Art (Seoul, Korea), and Lower Manhattan Cultural Council(NY, USA). Sunghee Pae’s work redefines the urban landscape as an ideal place. Inspired by architectural designs in public spaces, she engages a constant duality that exists within modern society, most specifically through utopic and dystopic narratives.
