ocean

Ocean grew up exploring barefooted over burning dry riverbeds and dreaming dreams of glittering stones to the lilt of screams and police sirens. He picked up crayons and then put them down; after a car wreck flung him end over end he picked them up again. He is now, among other things, a disabled poet and novelist living in the Pacific Northwest. His poetry and fiction are known for their resuscitation of the mythic and contribution to literary animism. He writes hypnogogic literary fiction, nightmare fairy tales, poetry based on recording devices left behind by ancient sentient species unearthed in the fossil record, pararealism, postcards to no one, erasure novels, and abstract erotic literature.
