the Role of Clothing in the Contemporary Arts
The 2005 season of lectures, studio workshops and exhibitions offered
broad based, interdisciplinary programs focusing on the visual arts and
other disciplines in the exploration of clothing and its function as metaphor
or surrogate, either revealing or concealing identity. The list of visiting
artists and writers explored performance, installation, painting, sculpture,
photography and video, as well as the underlying principals of camouflage.

potential of new media to increase activism and involvement. Two Girls
Working position themselves as assets to civic action and dialogue.
