Transmit+Transform

The 2004 program addressed the use of sound and light as two fundamental aspects of contemporary art. A wide variety of media were featured, including video, audio installations and site-specific soundscapes, photography about sound, photography that manipulates light as an abstract form, painting and sculpture that deals specifically with sound and light, radio as a creative transmission medium, hand-painted film, performance, and more.
