Santa
Fe Art Institute Internship opportunity
The Santa Fe Art Institute offers an internship program for a highly motivated individual with an interest in the arts and social justice. A non-profit arts organization exploring the intersections of contemporary art and society, the Santa Fe Art Institute offers interns an opportunity to experience the exciting interactions of art and community. Interns are expected to engage fully with all aspects of our programs, including the visiting artists lectures and workshops, our residency program, and our youth education and outreach program. Because we have a small staff, the intern has the opportunity to understand the inner workings of a non-profit arts organization, and to engage with artists and ideas from all over the world. The internship is mainly administrative and educational, focusing on assisting the staff with basic office tasks, such as answering telephones, updating databases, putting up posters around the city, running errands, talking with visitors about our programs, and generally assisting the staff with the execution of our many programs. Internships are offered by semester, and are open to college students and college aged young adults. If interested, please send a resume, letter of interest, reference contacts to: Education & Outreach Coordinator Johanna Kohout. Santa Fe Art Institute PO Box 24044 Santa Fe, NM, 87502 Attn: Johanna Kohout fax: 505 424-5050 e-mail: jkohout@sfai.org
