SFAI Design Workshop

SFAI Design Workshop is a six-week design/build summer intensive for local high school aged youth that explores the question of how we can work collaboratively to change the world. Participants become acquainted with a local organization that has a clearly identified need, and experience how their own creativity and critical thinking can play a vital role in providing tangible solutions. SFAI Design Workshop exposes participants to the design studio, and to fundamental concepts of design thinking such as empathy, discovery, interpretation, and experimentation. Our inaugural SFAI Design Workshop 2014 was a great success and we are gearing up for another creative and inspiring program for 2015. For reference, prospective applicants can check out the the 2014 application and FAQs. Stay tuned for application deadlines and details for SFAI Design Workshop 2015 coming soon!
