Arts Alive! Kids Summer Camp

For just over a decade, SFAI organized ArtsAlive!, a youth summer camp that focused on providing children aged 5 to 15 the opportunity for creative expression and summer learning. The ArtsAlive! Summer Camp ran for 8 weeks, typically from mid-June to early August, with each week of activities focusing on a different theme. Themes from ArtsAlive! 2013 included: Circus Theatre (Wise Fool), Music and Music Videos, Drawing and Painting, Constellation Installation: A Cosmic Sculpture Experience, Puppetry, World Dance and Music, Hip-Hop Art, and Botany & Biology in Art.

Graffiti Mentorship Workshop

For nine years, SFAI offered “Graffiti Mentorship,” a weekly workshop focused on connecting established street artists with local youth in need of a safe outlet for self-expression. SFAI is pleased to announce that Graffiti Mentorship is now housed and administered at Warehouse 21, which allows for increased visibility and accessibility, as well as new opportunities to visually invigorate the community.
