Amaryllis DeJesus Moleski, Education & Outreach Assistant

Amaryllis DeJesus Moleski was born in Bordeaux, France and grew up moving around the U.S. her whole life till she landed in Santa Fe three years ago. Amaryllis is a performer and co-creator of the spoken word collective Tribe Phoenix, and has performed her poetry both locally and nationally, including in the Wise Fool production of Baggage. She was recently awarded the Amy Beihl Youth Spirit Award for her work with youth and art in the community. Amaryllis truly believes in the power of the spoken word, art, inspiration, hope, action, love, community (communication+unity), dialogue, family, and storytelling as powerful tools for positive change and social justice. She feels very blessed to be working at SFAI with such amazing people who share a similar vision.
