Johanna Kohout, Outreach Education Coordinator

Johanna Kohout grew up in southern Vermont and Maine. She is a recent alumni of Antioch College in Yellow Springs, Ohio, where she graduated with a B.A. in Environmental Art. Arriving at the Art Institute as an intern finishing up her college credits, Johanna was hired on full time in Oct. 2004 as Administrative Assistant and Education Coordinator. Focused on art since childhood, Johanna continues to paint and explore social and environmental systems through her art. She has worked with the K-12 Gallery For Young People in Dayton, Ohio, Honor the Earth and the White Earth Land Recovery Project - both of Minnesota.
